HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE

February 24, 2021 by Shazia 2 Comments

Homemade hot chocolate is the easiest drink you can treat yourself with in winter. It’s chocolatey, creamy and luscious and so easy to make.  This recipe is made with a combination of cocoa powder and chocolate chips. This combination prevents the watery consistency of a hot chocolate that sometimes people complain of.

After some quick searches on the internet, I came to learn that this now popular drink was introduced to the New World from Mexico. Here is an interesting read about the history of hot chocolate https://www.history.com/news/hot-chocolate-for-strength
